We just published an ad-free version of VidAnalysis on Google Play.

If you own the newest version (1.6) of VidAnalysis free, all saved analyses can be imported into the ad-free app. If you have an older version, just update it!

For training purposes two new sample videos can be downloaded from this site:
free fall and pendulum

In both videos the meter stick is 0.4m long and it’s best to analyse them in portrait mode.

A new guide for VidAnalysis has been published! It is by Gregor Steele, an science teacher based in the UK working for SSERC, who thought of VidAnalysis as being quite useful for his classes. He included a lot of screenshots to make it easier to understand all steps, that have to be done to get a good motion analysis with smartphone or tablet.
